Mind over matter… matter over mind…
Can you relate? You work for 6, 12 months without a break. You don’t get sick. Then you take a couple of weeks off and bam… sick. Flat.
While I think I have been keeping a very mild cold at bay, feeling it a bit more today. Not a biggy. Moreso, I think the body beat the mind today.. “You are giving me a rest? Ok cool, I’ll crash”. I’m wondering if it is actually better to at least put in some kilometers (maybe half of normal) just to keep the mind in charge of the body?
Anyhoo, just a rest in Moree today. Again, nothing in particular planned but seemed to fill up the day. Main priority was bike tubes. Only the local motorbike shop sold bicycle tubes (should I open a bicycle tube shop in Moree? Easy money?). I had two choices. Skinny roadies or massive downhill mountain bike. Thankfully the latter fit onto the wheels. I am back to two fresh spares. That should keep me going. I hope!
Not too many photos today. Moree isn’t an overly photogenic town. It’s nice enough here, but no Emerald. Apparently Moree is known for thermal springs. Totally didn’t know that. I (we) can sleep well having learnt something new. Anyway, the local businesses capitalise. “Spa” this or “Artesian” that. Even the local motels get in on it. Spa village… enticing right?

I just realised too. I forgot to share the video of that massive haul back in Charters Towers. And a video of my Donger! I really need to start creating some video content. For a dude that works in IT I am a bit of a social media nuffy. I can has do better. I promise!
Song of the day. Stuck with something chilled today. Something from everyone. Mix in a legend of music, a current a-list pop star and an Aussie dance duo killing it internationally and you get this. Apparently Elton heard our Aussie boys – Pnau, signed them up, and gave them free reign to mix up his back catalogue. Add a splash of Dua Lipa and you get this banger.
